Who doesn’t love an at home spa night? A night of pure relaxation listening to your favorite music, burning a delicious candle, and of course who can forget an amazing face mask. These days’ those face masks can get pretty pricey, so here are four amazing at home, do-it-yourself recipes.

Oatmeal face mask

Benefits:

Oatmeal is a great material to soothe irritated skin. I use this mask whenever I feel a bad breakout coming. It is also great if you have dry, irritated skin or eczema.

What you’ll need:

1/2 cup of hot waiter (not boiling)

1/3 cup of oatmeal (plain)

2 tablespoons of plain greek yogurt

2 tablespoons of honey

Instructions:

  1. Mix together the hot water and plain oatmeal. Let it settle for two to three minutes to thicken and cook the oatmeal.
  2. Once it is settled mix in the plain yogurt and honey.
  3. Apply a thin mixture to your face, or problem area.
  4. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Avocado and Honey mask

Benefits:

Great for the upcoming summer months. Replenish hydration. Coconut oil helps with hydration while honey will help with the texture of your skin. Avocado will provide nutrition to your skin.

What you’ll need:

1/2 ripe avocado

1/2 coconut oil

2 tbsp of honey

Instructions:

  1. Mash the avocado until you get a creamy substance. If there are still chunks that’s fine.
  2. Mix in the coconut oil and honey.
  3. Apply an even layer onto the skin.
  4. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Lemon exfoliator

Benefits:

Lemon will help exfoliate the skin while the honey will help even the texture.

What you’ll need:

1/2 a lemon

1 tbsp of honey

Instructions:

  1. Cut lemon in half.
  2. Apply a layer of liquid honey on the lemon.
  3. Scrub your nose.
  4. Rinse with water.

Coffee mask

Benefits:

Coffee is going to help detoxify the skin and reduce any puffiness. Yogurt is going to help give your skin moisture.

What you’ll need:

2 tbsp of ground coffee (any will do)

2 tbsp of cocoa powder

1 tbsp of honey

2 tbsp of plain yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Apply an even layer to the skin and leave it on for 10 minutes.
  2. When you are going to wash it off, rub the mask into the skin. Because of the coffee grounds texture it will act as an exfoliant on your skin.
