5 Tips for Recognizing Failure as a New Beginning

Failure is key to anyone's success. It's about what you do from there.

5 Tips for Recognizing Failure as a New Beginning

Your latest project didn’t work out, the job opportunity fell through, or maybe you just feel like you’re drifting. I know how the ‘ending’ of things can feel like failure and leave you breathless while you scramble around trying to get all your ducks in a row.

Stop for just a moment and allow yourself to soak in the potential of a moment without obligations. Every day is an opportunity to re-discover yourself and to chase dreams you didn’t believe were achievable. There are no endings; just new beginnings waiting to carry you on your new adventure. Here are 5 things to remember when you’re doubting the beauty of a beginning:

Everything works out the way it’s supposed to.

This may seem cliche, but it’s the truth. We cling so tightly to the things not meant for us and it tears us apart in the process. While we’re mourning the loss of what we were never meant to have, we’re actually being set up for the path we’re meant to travel on. Have faith and believe you are exactly where you need to be.

There are endless possibilities.

Choose to be excited when things seem to fall apart. Ahead of you are nothing but possibilities and options you’ve never even touched. Don’t be afraid to stretch outside your comfort zone and see where your newest adventures will take you.

You’re in control.

Even though it may not seem like it, you have the ability to go any direction you choose. You’re powerful beyond your wildest imagination and can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

Things are only as bad as you choose to view them.

Crazy how your perspective can change things dramatically. What once seemed like a mountain could just be a small puddle you have to jump over. You can’t control your circumstances, but you can control how you view and respond to them. Stay positive and the positivity will come right back to you.

Your success story is right around the corner.

It may not seem believable, but your time is coming. Just because one chapter didn’t work out doesn’t mean the next one isn’t titled, ‘Her Big Break’. Keep hustling for your dreams, stay true to yourself, and amazing things will happen. Keep going!

As disappointed as you may feel, or as lost as you seem, I promise you are only in the beginning of an incredible journey. Your endings should be celebrated for what they really are: beginnings.

Thank you for sharing Madison. Fear is just an illusion. There is no such thing as right and wrong. Win or fail. xo

Great advice! I have thought I wanted to do multiple things that did not work out, mainly because I decided I wanted to do something else lol. But I still kind of mourned those opportunities in a way… remembering that the universe may be guiding you to your path through these things that didn’t work out is SO important, thank you! *thegoodthingscomin.wordpress.com
